Why on Earth would a family of five choose to drive all the way to Florida, in a year where hurricanes became an epidemic, and gas prices tripled? We found the one good week in the fall of 2005 to visit Orlando and Fort Walton Beach, spent 5 days driving during our 10-day vacation, and managed to have a great time in the process....
